I would say it is safe to say you get what you pay for, as a general rule, but not as a golden rule. I think there are great SEOs with fair prices out there. I think one of the main things to avoid are the really cheap services that brag results for $100-$200 a month or something of that nature. I just don't see those are being quality. I charge about $500 a month for my services and they are 100% comprehensive. This is very competitive and I do well for my clients. However, in time at some point I may raise the price.
